September 17th

Tomorrow is our first field study! Please ensure you have returned your blue 'Medical Information Off-Site Activities' form that was sent home in the package of forms at the beginning of the year. Please also ensure students are dressed for the weather and have a full water bottle and litter-free lunch. 

We are still waiting for a few students to complete their 'interacting with water' assignment which was sent home on Friday. We are asking all parents to please e-mail or send to school one picture of their child interacting with water. This could be swimming, playing, washing dishes, etc. 

Lastly, parent teacher conferences are on Thursday and Friday. Please be sure to sign up for a time to come and speak with your child's teacher. This will allow for the teacher to better understand your child and goals you have for your child throughout the year. Please let us know if you are having difficulty signing up.

Hi Parents! 

Thank you for being patient while our agendas arrive. For now, you will find important messages posted here. We will try and update our blog every few days. Once agendas arrive we will try and reduce the number of posts and post bi-weekly or monthly a selection of our learning updates. 

Today we sent home a notice to all parents asking to please send in a picture of their child interacting with water. Please submit a photo to your child's teacher by Monday. Pictures can be e-mailed to 

Ms. Percival (jfpercival@cbe.ab.ca) or Ms. Berg (klberg@cbe.ab.ca) or printed and sent in with your child. 

Lastly, we have our first field study on Wednesday. In order for your child to attend, We need all blue 'medical information' sheets back ASAP. This is one of the sheets included in the opening week package sent home. There are no other field study forms that have been sent home yet.
